The spielbox editorial team took a look around for you at the Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg to get first impressions of new products. Among other things, they also conducted an interview with the authors of Challengers!

Kosmos turned 200 years old this year and we naturally rummaged through the past a bit, but also talked to Kosmos about the present with Catan and Andor. With Planet B, Hans im Glück unleashes a small whirlwind of allusions in all possible directions. "Dorfromantik" - adaptation of a video game, went down very well with our critics and even got a "ten" (!). This has become a rarity indeed. Other games include Kuzooka, Powerline, Tenpenny Parks, Pax Pamir - Second Edition, Builders of Teotihuacan and many many more.

Andreas Becker talked to Alexander Pfister and Viktor Kobilke about the Mombasa re-release Skymines. Maren Hoffmann knocks on wood and looks at the scene of the game table carpenters. Udo Bartsch traveled to the tranquil town of Eppstein and visited Feuerland Spiele. And last but not least, of course, our team was in Hamburg and Berlin for the award ceremonies of the Spiele des Jahres 2022.

Diesem Heft liegen je zwei neue Plättchen für das Grundspiel Carcassonne und für das neue Carcassonne-Safari (Elefant/Löwe + Zebra/Giraffe) bei. Außerdem kann man mit dem ebenfalls beiliegenden Schnupperspiel für Saboteur (Amigo Spiele) das Spiel mal antesten.
